Volunteers needed to play disaster survivors

OLYMPIA-- Volunteers are needed to play the role of disaster survivors during an upcoming Community Emergency Response Team, CERT, training.

Professional moulage artists will apply makeup and prosthetics to the volunteers to simulate injuries. CERT participants will practice locating, applying first aid and transporting the volunteers. 

People of all ages and abilities are welcome to volunteer. Instructions will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

When: Friday, Feb. 9, 2024

Where: The Evergreen State College, 2700 Evergreen Parkway NW, Olympia

Time: 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

To volunteer, RSVP to Celso Rangel no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26.
