Help responders prepare for an emergency! Play the part of a disaster survivor!
Volunteers are needed to play the role of disaster survivors during an upcoming Community Emergency Response Team, CERT training. Class participants learn first aid and basic search and rescue so they can assist survivors during a disaster.
By playing the role of a survivor during the drill, you’ll help CERT members practice their skills so they’ll be ready to respond when a real disaster strikes!
Professional moulage artists will apply makeup and prosthetics to the volunteers to simulate injuries. CERT participants will practice locating, applying first aid and transporting the volunteers.
People of all ages and abilities are welcome to volunteer. Instructions will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty. All participants will need to sign a waiver prior to participating.
