OLYMPIA-- Serve Washington is looking for some volunteer actors to play the role of disaster survivors during some upcoming simulations exercises to prepare Community Emergency Response Teams, CERTs, to help people during disasters.
CERTs are volunteers who learn basic search and rescue and medical operations so they can help people during a disaster when professional first responders might not be immediately available.
The exercise takes place from noon to approximately 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct 5 at the Washington State Health Care Authority, 628 8th Ave SE in Olympia.
Actors need no prior experience. All ages and abilities are welcome. We need about 15 actors.
